Barringwood Estate is 15 kilometres south of Devonport en route to Sheffield and Cradle Mountain. The five hectare vineyard is planted out with the traditional cool climate varieties of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, as well as the more recently proven varieties of Pinot Gris, Schonburger and Pinot Meunier producing award winning table wines and a world class sparkling. At the Cellar Door we offer complimentary tastings of our latest vintages. We offer platters of Tasmanian fare, great coffee and beers and ciders from the local area for those not in the mood for wine. Our merchandise stand offers local honeys, ciders. pickles and jams to buy. Soak up the views across the Don Valley and out to Bass straight whilst sharing a bottle on our expansive deck.
